Chalet View Lodge permits the use of open flames, including designated fire pits, real candles, and sparklers, in designated areas. These activities are subject to the following guidelines and restrictions:
-
Compliance with Local Regulations: All open-flame activities must comply with the current campfire restrictions set by Plumas National Forest. Please note that these restrictions can change throughout the year depending on environmental conditions and fire hazard levels.
-
Indoor Restrictions: The use of sparklers is strictly prohibited inside any tent or enclosed space within the lodge premises.
-
Time Limitations: All open flames, including sparklers, must be fully extinguished by 10:00 PM. This is to ensure the safety of all guests and to minimize the risk of fire hazards during night-time hours.
-
Lodge’s Right to Restrict: Chalet View Lodge reserves the right to restrict or prohibit the use of open flames at any time for any reason, including during an event. This may occur with little to no advance notice, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
-
Safety First: Guests are responsible for ensuring that all open flames are handled safely and in accordance with all lodge guidelines and local fire safety regulations. Proper extinguishment of flames is required.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
